Lab List
Electronics & Instrumentation Labs
1) Basic Electronics Lab:
The Electronic Circuits and PCB laboratories cater to the ‘Basic Requirements of the E&I Branch as well as the ‘service course’ needs of CS, I.T., EE & EC branches. These labs are very crucial for beginners to understand the theoretical concepts.
2) Analog Integrated Circuit and Digital Circuit Lab:
These labs facilitate the enhancement of practical skills in Analog & Digital design with good foundation for the study of Microprocessors, and Microcontroller and their Applications. These labs help to understand digital as well as analog electronics applications.
3) Telemetry Lab:
This lab provides a wider platform for learning and gives a good grounding in Analog & Digital Communication, which are pivotal for Communication Engineering Studies.
4) Transducer Lab:
In Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering practical knowledge based on instrumentation is very important for the students. These laboratories provide training to the students on the performance and characteristics of energy conversion circuits. The various available sensors like pressure, RTD, Thermocouple, LVDT etc. are very important from the project point of view.
5) Microprocessors & Micro controller with Interfaces Lab:
The lab provides facilities to use 8/16-bit Microprocessors/ Micro controllers and their interfacing for different applications using hardware and software trade–offs. This lab activity further provides a very good motivation for the design and development of project works, as well as a good proto-typing, and product development.
6) Project Lab

E&I Engineering Department is having CAD lab well equipped with various licensed softwares like Mat Lab, Multisim, ULTI board, VHDL, DSP KIT, LABVIEW (virtual Instrumentation), DAQ’s .With this lab department is offering job oriented training which is helping students in their placement. Final year students are utilizing this facility for their B.Tech projects also. Apart from this a PLC KIT is also available which is used by students for project work. A HOBBY CLUB is also established where students can do practical industry oriented real time projects. All the relevant electronics components are available free of cost to the students to accomplish their project work.
7) DSP Lab :
In E&I department is also having well established DSP lab for B.Tech students. The lab is equipped with sufficient number of TEXAS DISCRETE PROCESSOR to cater the need of students.
It is also having DAQ’S for data processing.
8) Instrumentation Lab :
In E.I department there is a software based Instrumentation lab for B.Tech Final year students which cater the requirements as per Mahamaya Technical University (MTU) syllabus.
