Words from head of department

The department of Electrical and Electronics, at Anand Engineering College, Agra, was started in the year 1998. It currently has an intake of 120 per annum. Quite a few of the alumni have already reached positions of eminence in industry.

The department to prepare top quality professionals in the field, by ingraining within students the values of discipline, analysis and tolerance for diversity. Students are encouraged to cultivate an environmental / market-based understanding of needs along with a wholistic perspective.

The department has well trained faculty, a suite of well developed labs and teaching material. There have been three cases of ranks having been procured by students in the University.

The department has been accreditated by the National Board of Accreditation, AICTE, since 2004. NBA Accreditation is meant to assess and assure quality of the Teaching –Learning methodology and the technologies used in the process.

A degree in the field opens up options in a wide range of fields: Power Systems, Power Electronics & Drives, Circuits and Networks, Control Systems, Electrical Machines, Analog and Digital Electronics, Communication Systems, Signal Processing, Computer Programming etc., thus leading to further studies and work in multi-disciplinary areas.
