The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) was established in the year 2000. The department offers the following programmes:

Bachelor of Technology of Uttar Pradesh Technical University, a 4-Year B.Tech. Degree Programme, in which the students are admitted through Engineering Entrance Test (UPSEE) of the State Government.Diploma holders are admitted in III semester, under the lateral entry provision with the approval of Director of Technical Education, U.P. as per policy guidelines of AICTE / State Govt.

The Department has 18 teaching staff, 5 technical support staff and 4 non teaching staff.

Innovations :

Our Final Year students have devised electronic equipment which can prevent the theft of vehicles by controlling the ignition of the engine. The efforts are being made for patenting this technique.

It was demonstrated on 4th August’09 in front of SP (city) Shri B.P. Ashok, SP (rural) Shri Vinay Yadav, Ex health minister Shri Rambabu Harit. This event got media coverage in local and national daily like Amar Ujjala, DLA, Hindustan Times, Times of India, and electronic media NDTV, Sahara TV, Star News, etc.
