The Department of Biotechnology strives to provide students with excellent instructions and state-of-the-art infrastructure to prepare them to meet the challenges of future technology.

Recent advances in microbiology and biochemistry have made biotechnology an exciting stream to work in and explore. The department of Biotechnology at Anand Engineering College imparts education through an experienced and committed band of faculty. Students are given every opportunity to explore the opportunities the biological world has in store to offer.

Academics :

The department offers subjects such as Cell Biology, Genetics and Molecular Biology, Bio-informatics, Food Biotechnology, Bioprocess Engineering, Immunology, Microbiology, Genetic engineering and Agricultural Biotech. Students are also given the cutting edge knowledge through Computer applications training.

During the program, students are exposed to a deeper understanding of various biosciences including Animal biotechnology, Bioprocess engineering, Enzyme technology, Genomics & Proteomics and Environmental bio-technology.
